Questions/Comments for 4 August Meeting
I personnel have studied the tasks required in
this effort and pose the following questions/comments:
1. Is the problem confined to the National level and
the Washington Area: If not, how deep and to what
level should the problem be researched?
2. What are the requirements of the community?
3. Discuss criteria for improvement. For example,
is timeliness a criteria for improvement? Does
improvement mean that decision makers require
a shorter response time? Should the community
holdings be more accessable or more useful?
4. Are there problems in validating data?
5. Would a common user language be an improvement?
For example, should geographic place names have a
common base? Is this the type improvement
desired?
6. An organizational chart should be provided by each
agency showing relationship and areas of interest
to the problem which will be researched.
7. Each agency should provide a briefing. Where,
when, and at what security level?
8. Agencies should identify documents for required
reading.
9. Because of the security level, all materials should
be sent to NSA.
