SUBJECT: Experimental Research Facility For Use By The
Intelligence Community
REFERENCE: USIB-D-71..1/3, 22 October 1968, NSAM 368
(Intelligence Information Handling System)
1. The Chairman has received a draft proposal (attached)
for an Experimental Research Facility.
2. According to the Preliminary Plan For Improving The
Community Information Handling System (CIHS), Attachment A of
Reference, such proposals fall within the scope of Subplan VI--
Development of Experimental/Trial Information Handling Services.
Discussion of this Subplan may be found on pp. 33-37 of Attachment A.
3. Accordingly, the Chairman has requested that you receive
a copy of the draft working paper for consideration and comment.
This paper will be on the agenda for the July 22nd meeting of the
IHC as a discussion item.
