SUBJECT DCI Attendance at the Watch Committee
REGARDING Your memo of 12 October 1973.
1. We welcome Mr. Colby's attendance at a meeting
of the Watch Committee. As you know, the committee meets
every Wednesday morning normally at 10:30, and we would
consider any Wednesday appropriate for his attendance.
During the Thanksgiving or Christmas holiday week, however,
the meetings are likely to be scheduled at different times,
and it would be more difficult to plan ahead for these two
weeks.
2. We would need a few days' notice in order to
bring the committee members to the Agency and for the
National Indications Center (NIC) staff to make admin-
istrative preparations for a meeting to be held at CIA
rather than in NIC's office at the Pentagon.
