Efforts to develop Community standards in report formatting, docu- ment or information indexing, and multi-million dollar information systems design are stimulated by CODIB catalytic action and, in turn, may lead to departmental R&D or formal study; the3e departmental activities are reflected in some detail in the rather voluminous appendices to the CODIB Annual Report (CODIB-AR-4. 31 July 3 962) but would appear to be outside . the scope Of the request.
