SUBJECT : Appointment of Chairman, IPC
I The se of this memorandum is to recommend that
I !I be appointed Chairman of the Interagency
t~IaWes a Collection Priorities Committee (IPC) vice
retired.
2. 'T'his recommendation is in keeping with past practice,
and complies with DCII No. 5/5 the C Charter) which states:
"... The Chairman will be a senior official of the
Clandestine Service designated by the Director of Central
Intelligence. sr
3. If you approve, the Executive Secretary, United States
Intelligence Board, will be asked to notify USIB Principals of the
appointment.
