SUBJECT Status of Interagency Intelligence
Memorandum, "Prospects for Soviet Inter-
ference with US Space Systems During
Crisis or Conflict"
1. The working group has concurred with the
revised final draft which will be sent out shortly with
a cover memorandum for telephonic concurrence. All
issues have been resolved; in particular, there is
con nsus text on the assessment of the Sary Shagan
laser?.
2. The new study of satellite interference in
peacetime will be initiated soon, probably in January.
NSA, has been proposed as the
uay -L.
3. It is recommended that CIA concur on the IIM.
