Angus MacLean Thuermer Assistant to the Director SUBJECT NBC ''Tomorrow" SNOW I checked again with Andy Friendly, the praducer of the "Tomorrow" show. The format is yourself and 'Tam Snyder -~ just the two of you -- in a conversation for axt hour. Friendly says Snyder does not .argue much, he simply "raps-?? They are not out to give you the spiv; they merely want a relaxed shag; they don't view themselves as 60 Minutes. Friendly said that they have recently had Secretary Rumsfeld on one show and later Secretary Butz. Both were well received and felt at ease. Coming up are Ambassador Scranton and ---later-?-Edward Bennett Williams. They have aired Governor Carter and tonight they have Woodward and Bernstein. ~ ~ - - Friendly hopes that you can do the taping when you are in New York on the 3rd of May for the Overseas Press Club dinner. They need an hour. Their best time for taping (less overtime costs for crews, etc.) would be May 4th (sic) in the evening at 7:30 but they will accommodate to any time you can spare on the 3rd.
