2 April 1976 MEMORANDUM FOR: Director of Central Intelligence FROM : Angus MacLean Thuermer Assistant to the Director SUBJECT : Overseas Press Club Details in New York on May 3. called today with details on the Overseas Press Club affair - Mr. Robert Beck of Norton-Simons Communications The guest of honor reception is at 6:30 in the Georgian Room on the 18th floor of the Biltmore Hotel. The black tie dinner at which you will be principal speaker will be in the grand ballroom on the 19th floor at 8:00 p.m. The affair should be over before 11:00 p.m. The club will have a suite available for you to change and freshen up. They anticipate your arrival there at about 5:30 p.m. Once again I conveyed the information that you regretted Mrs. Bush could not attend; I added that I regretted Mrs. Thuermer could not make it.
