The Honorable George Bush
Director of Central Intelligence
Washington, D. C. 20505
Thank you for taking the time on Tuesday to talk
with the Senior Seminar. We were delighted that you
could share the experience of the first ninety days
of your tenure as DCI and your views of the problems
facing the intelligence community. I appreciate too
your candid responses to the group's questions.
Earlier on Tuesday, as you know, CIA provided
the Seminar a number of valuable briefings on certain
collection and analysis activities. I am asking
Harry Fitzwater to convey our thanks to those who
spoke to us.
Sincerely,
Ambassador Christopher Van Hollen
