Senate Select Committee on Intelligence staff. He said he and
this afternoon. Arrangements were made and Taylor and Moore did review 25X1
the books for a couple of hours.
32. LIAISON Elliot Maxwell, Senate Select
Committee.on Intelligence staff, called to say Spencer Davis, Press Secretary
for the Committee, had been contacted by a. representative of NBC. The NBC
man had possession of a memo dated 20 May 1975 from the Inspector
General to the DCI concerning `S115X1
NBC spokesman asked if the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence had a
copy of this memorandum and Maxwell was trying to get one. I later talked
to Spencer Davis directly and told Davis I would get him a copy of the
memorandum the first of next week. Davis said this was satisfactory.
33. (Confidential - DFM) LIAISON Called Don Sanders, Senate
iSelect Committee on Intelligence staff, and reported to him, our good fortune
in obtaining temporary space for Committee staff members at .th gHeadquarters
building. I told Sanders the space will not be available until 2 August but th
we would make other arrangements for him for l August.
