22. LIAISON Because of conflicting information,
I called Bill Miller, Staff Director, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, to
get as firm a list as possible of the subjects to be cov re in tEe eptenrzber
DCI briefing. Miller gave me such a list. I mentioned to Miller my
discussion with Don Sanders, also of the Committee staff, and Miller
indicated he believed the Theodore Shackley, Acting DDO, interview would
be the last phase of the Committee's investigation.
I also told Miller that a request, I was sending him ourSTAT
first attempt at drafting a Reorganization Plan.. This was sent latter in the day
by special, courier.
