Addendum to Journal - Office of Legislative Counsel
Wednesday - 6 July 1977
25X1
I mentioned to Eisenhower that there was a reprogramming action
which we wanted to bring to the Committee's attention, and I suggested we
brief he and Bill Miller, Staff Director, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence,
next week on it. Eisenhower said reprogramming is a sensitive subject with
the Committee and that he thought both Chairman Daniel K. Inouye (D. , Hawaii)
and Vice Chairman Barry Goldwater (R., Ariz.), Senate Select Committee on
Intelligence, should also be involved in the briefing. I told Eisenhower I
would attempt to set this up after Miller's return on 11 July.

17. I LIAISON Met with Hal Ford, Senate Select
Committee on Intelligence staff, and told him the DDO reports
which he had requested were available for his review. He said he wanted
to beginhis review tomorrow morning. Ford also said he would like to
see a copy of PRINT 24, regarding U. S. relations with the Peoples Republic
of China. I told Ford I doubted CIA was in a position to release it but I
would let him know to whom he should direct his inquiry.
