MEMORANDUM FOR GENERAL ROBERT CUTLER
SUBJECT: Chinese Nationalist Troop Strength
1. Herewith the best current figures for Chinese
Nationalist forces on Formosa and the offshore Islands.
As you will see, they differ from those given Thursday at
NSC. As luck would have it, some newer and firmer figures
were received from Cinc Pac on Thursday afternoon.
