MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: NSC Briefing of 17 March 1955
1. The 241st meeting of the NSC will be held
at 0915 Thursday, 17 March 1955. The Council will re-
ceive a special report: in consequence, the DCI is not
scheduled to brief on current developments affecting US
security.
2. Division chiefs are therefore free of the
responsibility for preparation of formal NSC briefing
topics this week. Note, however, that "crisis" develop-
ments during the period up to 0830 of 17 May may require
spot preparation of briefing material.
