MEMORANDUM FOR: Task Force Members
1. There will be a meeting of the Task Force on the
Soviet strategic problem at 1400 on Thursday, 9 August 1973
in Room 7E62. Purposes include:
a. Discussion of theses or propositions
on the main points now being drafted
by[ I Copies of these
will be circulated to you in advance
if possible.
b. Suggestions for suitable outside experts
to comment on a draft paper or to query
on selected points.
2. Copies of the various members contributions are
available in my office, Rm.7E56
and all hands are encouraged to read them before we meet.
3. Schedule for completion of this project has been
accelerated following a talk Mr. Colby had with General
Scowcroft. We are now shooting for a first draft about
15 August.
