SUBJECT: Coordination Footnote on NIE's and SE's
1. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has requested
that the coordination footnote now used on NL's and SE's
be amended to reflect the 3.im1ted or special role played by
the FBI in the greater mbar of the foreign intelligence
estimates produced through TAC machinery.
2. Accordingly tie submit the following text for 7mW
consideration. This text would be used on all estimates in
which the FBI did not participate directly at the IAC rep-
resentatives level..
