1. In accordance mith the agreed procedure in reference
above, It is desirable to establish an ad hoc committee for the
purpo of preparing the contribution on section III of Part
Three of the WIE 11-6-54 Terms of Reference,
2. The tasks of this committee would be:
?Ai. To contribute to section /II above and. to provide
working level coordination of this contribution;
D, To determine the types of counterpart US mis ilea
systems which should be investigated and any US
plants which need to be visited for this purpose;
To act as a joint team for oollection of necessary
information from these plants.
3. He propose that membership of this committee inalude
AFOIN (ATIC and AFOIN-3), OVI? and G-2? with Colonel G. E. Oranston,
USAF, of CIA/ORR (Code 143, Ext. 2741) as chairman. Committee
Mbera need not participate any more fully in the activities of
the committee, such as visits to plants, than seems desirable to
th? it' offices.
4. Please let me have the name of your representative an
the c ttee as soon as possible in order to avoid undue delay
in the production schedule.
