SUBJECT: Briefing for Professors of Architecture and Engineering
A two-day updating conference of CCD qualified falloult shelter analysis
instructors will be held on April 14 and 15, 1967. Approximately 350
professors of architecture and engineering comprise this group of OCD
qualified instructors. The purpose of the conference is to present the
status of current OCD program, policies, and technical developments in
the field of radiation shielding. A NORAD briefing, beam will make a pre-
sentation, and we would Ilk* to have a representative from your office
present a general briefing on the current international situation.
In this consnectiota, it is requested that be author STATINTL
ized to make this presentation. The conference agenda will allow his to
make a presentation of about 30 minutes duration on Friday afternoon,
April 14. The conference will be held in the Main Ballroom of the Willard
hotel.
These professors are in a favorable position to disseminate information
to students as well as influential professional and other decision staking
groups. It is felt that a presentation by to this group will STATINTL
be mutually advantageous.
