The Tung-ching-cheng Hydro Power Plant is located on the Mu-tan Chiang
(River) 8.5 nautical miles (nm)southwest of the center of Tung-ching-cheng.
The powerhouse of this hydro power plant is located 1.8 nm northeast of the
Ching-po Hu (LakE;). Water from the lake is carried by an underground conduit to
a point above thE; powerhouse. Two penstocks indicate that the powerhouse con-
tains-two turbogenerators. A small switching yard is located west of the
powerhouse.
This plant is complete and there has been no construction since -
the date of the latest photography used in the referenced report. Turbu-
enc was observE;d in the tailrace on all coverage referenced.
