(A) Boundary generally used on Japanese maps and on most maps published in the Unirrd States. It follows the stream Shih-i-shui (Shihyishwei) ( L Z* ) mentioned in !he treat.' of Sept. 4, 1909 between Japan and China. (B) Boundary shown in the Ting atlas, 1934 (also follows the Shih-i-shui but cdnnection with Yalu differs from Japanese interpretation). (C) Boundary used on sheet K 52 C, Korea 1:250,000, AMS L551 (AMS 2), 946. fl s portrayal approximates alignment shown on Manchuria 1:300,000 arid other Chinese mars.
