According to the departing South Vietnamese repre- sentative, Saigon will not close the Mekong River-- Cambodia's primary international trade route--un- less Prince Sihanouk takes further action such a reco nizin North Vietnam. u Arabia: LTha au di minister of defense in a conversation with the British ambassador threatened to consider purchasing arms from the Soviet bloc if they are not available from Western sources.
