ON THE NORTH VIETNAMESE ECONOMY AND LOGISTICS
During the first 23 days of April, US and South Vietnamese planes
destroyed or severely damaged a number of bridges on railroads and
roads in the southern panhandle area of North Vietnam. The destruc-
tion of these bridges is believed to have made the rail line between the
