SUBJECT Qualification Standards for Professional Engineering
Positions
REFERENCE: Memo dtd 12 June 63 to Heads of Career Services fr

1. Referent memorandum established a, testing procedure
whereby Agency employees without full educational qualifications
could be certified to fill professional engineering positions. This
procedure has been discontinued.
2. Employees must now meet the qualification standards
outlined in Civil Service Handbook X-118 dated June 1968 in
order to qualify for assignment to Engineering positions.
Those employees who have passed the written tests and have been
certified for assignment to Engineering positions will. be
considered qualified for assignment to other Engineering positions.
