ltiank you very much for your kind letter of welcome which
I received today. I am looking forward very much to working with
you sad your colleagues in F.B.I.S., and 1 shall certainly do all I
can to maintain the very happy relations which have been built up
between our two Services.
I am very glad I had the opportunity of meeting you, although
so briefly, oa your last visit to London and I hope it will not be
long before our acquaintance can be renewed. I note, however, that
will be acting in your place for the next three months.
I had an opportunity of meeting on his recent visit
here. 1Pe were very pleased to see him as moat useful work
was accomplished.
Richard Marriott has now left for Northern Ireland but I will
certainly pass on your good wishes to him.
