How glad I am that at last I have been able to attend
one of our annual meetings on this side of the Atlantic. I
am immensely grateful to you for your very friendly welcome
and for the many opportunties that we had to discuss so many
important questions of mutual interest. It seemed to me that
the ease in which we reached agreement was eloquent of our
harmonious relationship to which we attach so much importance
and which is really sealed by such understanding personal
contacts.
Please give special greetings for me to your wife, with
the hope that that tiresome ankle is not responding to treat-
ment and also to Roland Way whom I was so glad to meet again.
