1. "The following buildings were in process of construction in Sofia in November 1952:
(e) Ministry of Electrification, from Hotel Imperial building (corner of Lege and
Klementina streets) to Boulevard Dondoukoff. Turgoveka street has been elim-
inated.
(b) Minist of Heavy Industry, Boulevard Dondoukoff and Georgi Dimitrov Street
(formezly Maria Lo tea) .
(c) Ministry of Light Industry, Boulevard Dondoukc_t toward Sveta Nedelya Square.
Fronts onto Dondoukoff.
(d) Party Homo (Parties Dom , construction almost completed. Five-story building,
the facade on'Sou ever ondoukof_f is two and a half stories high. The found-
ations of the Party Home recently caved to , and concrete is now being used Por
soil reinforcement. Some of the ongineere in charge of this project were
arrested.
The Milk Centre. Five story building, between two blocks on Alexander Stam-
boliys I and Sredne Gore. Streets. The front is about 150 metres long.

The Soviet ArAr monument in the grounds of the Children's Park on Boulevard
Rottski (formerly Tzar Orvoboditel), where a new palace had once been planned.
A hotel building is being constructed on Boulevard Dondoukoff and Sveta Nedelya
Square, facing the Gastronom store.
Three lots of apartment houses- one five story building on Graf Ignatieff and
Rakovska streets; another five Story building next to the above block, and
another five story building next to the?Biat building on hakovska Street. The
number of apartments in these buildings is estimated at some 700-

(f) Five blocks of community aparteent houses, injthree lines along Xlementina street
near the Porlovetz River. These were 'Jerry built' and started to deteriorate
