The entrance channel was easily navigable by radar alone. The longshore- 2 5X1 men in Gdynia seemed very anxious to please the ship and frequently asked the Chief Mate if everything was as he desired it to be. 3. Security. Security measures standard for the port were imposed on the ship. On entering there was a three and one half hour search; and on departure: there was a three-hour search.
