1. "1 found that the Thai Aim-aye' facilities are not very impressive.
2. "it will require a considerable amount of education and work both to personnel
and in the shops to permit the proper overhaul and maintenance of US aircraft.
3. "In talking to Major General Chai Prothapasen, General Manager; Mr Yu, Chief
Engineer; Kirk Hills, Chief Pilot and Operations Manager; and Mr K Dichem,
Planning Engineer; i found that Thai Airways is planning to establish its own
overhaul facilities which are hoped to !be in operation by the end of 1955. In
this connection, personnel are being sent to the US for training."
