1. "In the autumn of 1953 four basins for submarines were finished at
P011e
Paldieki. The basin begin about', 200 motors south of the Paldiaki
railway station. Two more,basins~were under construction in December
1953. Judging by the eye the length of the basins in about 120
meters, the width about 140moters. The depth is said to be six meters.
"Bailxay sidings lead to the l,quaypof the basins. Pipes are also laid
to thew from cisterns located about 1500 motors to the mouth in the
forest.
