1. The initial program for recovery of cobalt at Rhokana will involve heat treatment
of bulk copper-cobalt concentrate for differential flotation, followed by sulphate
roasting of the cobalt concentrate. The commercial plant will produce 500 tons of
bulk concentrate for heat treatment and about 150 tons per day of cobalt concentrate
for sulphate roastinC, A Badische roaster will also be installed in the pilot
plant for this heat treatment and sulphate roasting test work.
