"Statistics showing the state of livestock breeding in Poland during
the poet-World War II years prove that untll ly4y 'oliah nari-

exception of pig breeding, and not only achieved but even eaceeded
the targets oi' production laid down in the Three-Year Plan. After
1949, however, a serious setback nea ~bserred in this development,

a much slower rate. This .Led to a revision oi' tLe provisions of the
Six-Year Plnn concerning livestock breeding, which was approved by the
