(LISTED BELOW) 25X1 SUPPLEMENT TO REPORT NO. 25X1 1. A new Viet Nam transmitter has been heard on 11935 kcsl the frequency of the regular iet Nam News Agency station YHA, sending press and quasi-press material in English and French Morse. The new transmitter also originally used call letters VNA, but shifted about 20 February 1949 to . 3. All call letters are clearly without reference to' international convention assignme nts, and give no indication of 'Sransmitter location. VNA is presumablyllocated within t he Viet-Minh-controlled area. From the nature of material transmitted it is ' su.pposedl ,possible that VNRJ is at a location where outside news sources are more readily availabl e and is feeding background information to the Viet Nam News Agency and other sections of the Ho-Chi-Minh government. 1 FI CLASSIFICATION RES TRICTEb ..
