as of October 1. It was first noticed when Radio Belgrano, Buenos Mires,
broadcasting in Spanish to Argentina, supplanted its usual Esso Reporter
newscast at 10:00 P.M.(Argentine time) with "News from 'APA,' 'Agencia
Periodistica Argentina,' and wire dispatches from 'International News
Service' and 'France Presse."I
The broadcasts have been carefully checked since then, and so far the
Esso Reporter, which for years consisted of .ews supplied by United Press,
but which now regularly features news from APA INS, and AFP, has not been

THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
It has been observed that the Esso Reporter newscast, containing
news from the United Press wire service, is no longer transmitted over
Radio Belgrano of Buenos Aires, where it has been an established feature,
for more than a decade.
The change apparently follows in the wake', of attacks directed
against the Esso Reporter for its handling of news pertaining to the
Sentemher 28 military revolt, especially the manner in which the revolt
news was handled by "El Reporter Esso" from radio stations outside
Argentina.
Discontinuance of~the Esso Reporter service was apparently effective
