According to the resolution of the Preparatory Conference for the Peace Conference of the Asian and Pacific Regions, the total number of delegates in the September conference shall not exceed 500 and the number of delegates from each country shall be decided upon through consultation between the~ Preparatory Committee and the country concerned. We have worked out a plan for the distribution of delegates as follows: 1. China, India, USSR, Japan, USA". 20 to 30 each. 2. Indonesia, Burma, Pakistan, Korea, Iuatralia, Vietnam, Mexico, Canada: 10 to 20 each. 3. Colombia, Afghanistan, Thailand, Malaya, Philippines, Ceylon, Nepal, Cambodia, Laos, Chili, Peru, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Salvador, New Zeland, Mongolia, Coates Rica, Panama: 5 to lOT?each. Regarding the working staff, including interpreters and secretaries, each delegation may have one for every five delegates. Would like to know your opinion on the plan.
