A Soviet unit of about 1,800 men is quartered in the newly built barracks
on the Koni,gsbruck training grounds near Stein,:orn. The. regiment carte from
Poland and will remain in the barracks throuth the winter. The barracks
are of winter-fast construction. The unit is equipped with old type ISIS
freight trucks. The soldiers appear to he mainly Mongolians.
