On 17 Jul 53, 21 men of the Pirna Volkspolizei left for the Soviet Union.
to be trained in Soviet airplanes. These men had been at Pirna since January
1953, studying the Russian language and the service manuals. They had to
cage themse't -:res to a stay of 2f' months in the Soviet Union.
