1. Since April 1953 construction work on underground bunkers has been going
forward on the troop training grounds at Ohrdruf, northeast of the main
center. Three Soviet trucks bring cement from the Ohrdruf railway station
four times a day. Six large underground bunkers have been finished so far,
and a beginning has been made in storing ammunition. The ammunition is
unloaded at the railway station. It is mainly artillery ammunition of around
120 mm caliber. There is also some ammunition packed in boxes which probably
is 22 mm.
