The submarine is supposed to be one earlier observed in WarnemInde as the tugboat was observed in Warnemtnde on the 18 Sep 53. The submarine is further supposed to be an ex-German ship of VII-C type, one of three ships sunk in Warnemtnde in Nay 1945 2. The submarine was observed in Stralsund being towed south, either to the Volkswerft or to the Peenewerft in Wolgast.
