1. A ^ifle.regiment in Bekescsaba is installed in the former infantry barracks nn
Anirassy ut, east of the railroad station of the AEGV small g6uge line. The
barracks now holds one battalion, an AT company with 76.2mm guns, a mortar com-
pany, with the regimental staff and quartermaster section. The battalion has
350 men; the other troops amount to 150. Only the heavy weapons arc motorized.
2. On 1 Aug 53 the battalion received about 200 reservists sad kept them for two
months training. These people belonged to the classes 1926 to 1928. About 80
percent were from Budapest. They :rere trained in a training battalion of two
companies.
3. In the town there are seen also artillerists with red insignia and transport
troops~~vith brown insignia.
