1. Soviet air activity in the Porkkala Area in Sep 1953. Jets have been observeo
on 10 days of this month, up to fivu planes avb.one_ti. ..!The aiserafts have been
practicing landing and taking off from the Porkkala area. jets coming crow
the south, supposedly from Eaton*, have also been taking part in the exerciLes.
One helicopter was seen on 11 Sep taking off from Maekiluoto. Island and
landing on Porkkala.
2. Road and railway traffic to porkkala in Sep 1953. The railway traffic us been
less than previous; 372 boxcars and 133 flatcars were taken to the are:. One
of the trains contained among other tfiings,16 trucks.
