1. The Soviet-,Zone authority has given the ,unkwerk Berlin -Kbpenick
an order fora 4 KW short wave sender. The work must be
completed by 1 Dec 54.
2. A sonic altimeter (Echolot) is being developed for the Soviet Union.
.It is to have a horizontal range of 10,000 meters. Probably it
is to be used as a d1raction-tinder for other shins. The dr_veloc;r6nt?
work is now in the bepinnin,? stage.
