3. The RRT Leipzig is uclivering a new type of quartz crystal. The:;e crys'iis furme:ly
were built into the apparatus. They h:.d a diameter of about 2 crn. The crystals
now being delivered have a diameter of about l., cm, are u.' cylindrical shape,
and have an outer case of plastic material, while the two cover plates are of bras.:.
The cover plates have three round depressions on each side, which hull the crystal
in position in the apparatus. The apparatus has two clamps which on their inner
sides have.three spring-mounted round prujectiona on each side. These snap into
the depressions in the crystal and hold it in place. This make.; it possible to
change the apparatus to another frequency in the shortest time.

Great importance is attached to the production for the -3uviet Union of impulse
repeaters for automatic control installations. Although this equipment is.not
built in entirety at Zwonita more and more security precautions are enforced.
Allegedly because of many failures of this equipment, the :;nf has placed a new
controller in charge, who by all appearances is Soviet. Tt:eapparatus wsirhs
190. and is about 50 by 20 by 30 cm in size. Ten sets were manufactured in January
