1. The VVB Ionfektion (elothing manufacture) has been given a production quota for
1954 of 1.8 billion-uniforms and fatigue uniforms. These are mostly uniforms
for the 9olkspolizei. Soviet Union requirements are. only 450,000 winter uniforms.
Czechoslovakia delivers most of the uniform cloth.
2. Production of this quota will be split up agong 26 988 plants of the Soviet Zone.
The principal ones are the 488 Fortachritt in Bast Berlin, with a capacity up
to 450 uniforms per day; 9873_11allisohe tleiderwerk,. in Halle-Saale; VBB
Lonfektion Gera, in Gera, and.9EB Ionfektion Ieugersdorf, in 3axony.
