The infantr?v barracks is at the southern edge of Dupnitsa, near the two-lane Dupnitsa-Svet. Vrach road ? ~G m from the Dupnitsa railroad station. It consists of a ore-stony guardhoue6; a two-story staff and office building,. three. Lwo- story quarters, a depot building and a 'large stable. It can take 1,000son. 2. It is occupied by the 22r..d Rifle Regiment headquarters and part of the regiment. The regimental troops include: Lt. Coi..frL,.7Susulo#f, commander of the regiment, a former officer of the royal army, with a staff of 25; the quartermlaei.er acminin- tration, 22 men; medical platoon, 8 men; telephone central, 8 men; transport company, 30 man; a machine pistol reconnaissance oompy of four platoons with three squads each, 95 to 100 men all told, with three fight Degtyarev machine guns and 90 Degtyarev machine pistols; a heavy machine gun company of four platoons with three squads each, 90 to 100 men, with 12 Soviet Maxim, heavy machine guns; a mortar company of two platoons with two squads each, 85 to 90 men and still incomplete, with four 50 mm mortars; an AT company of four. platoons with two squads each, 90 to 95 men and eight 45 an AT guns; a oomoeunioa- tions company of three platoons with three squads each, 85 to 90 men, mainly armed with rifles. 3. At the barracks is the lot Battalion, commanded by Capt.ffny7 Dordoff, 42 years old, a former partisan.
