1. Jena. About 70 tanks that had been at Jena-Lobeda left in the direction of
Weimar on 17 and 18 May 54. About 30 trunks loaded with soldiers left on
the same days, also towards Welaar.
2. Werdau. There are altogether about 190 Soviet troops stationed in Jordan
at the present tine. They belong to an infantry unit. Up to 15 My 54
they were engaged in temereisee at Weieeca horn.
3. Several arrests, including some officers of high rank, were wade at the
ai' y headquarters in Zossen-1instorf on 22 May 54. They are supposed to
have had connections with Western service agenctee.
