4. The retraining course lasts two months. It begins with basic Infantry
exercises. Long practice sarches are combined with target practice.
There is severe combat training and continuous political schooling.
In these circumstances it is scarcely surprising that the morale of the
reservists is very poor. Several hundred reserves of the 1926, 1927 and
1928,claases were given refresher training here in 1953.
5. The companies are organized and armed like regular army rifle companies.
In each oompany there are 9 light machine guns, 70 infantry rifles,
12 aaahine pistols, The heavy weapons company has two 76.2 mm field guns, two
antitank guns, four 50 mm mortars. two 82 mm mortars, three heavy machine
guns, several antitank rockets.
