THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION
a. The DGSAitM paramilitary training is not the s^me as the
so-called "li0 hours" of training received in the Soviet
Army by recruits in military barracks after their induction
but prior to distribution to actual army units. The DCSAHM
(Dobrovolnoye Obshchestvo po Sotrudnichestvu s krrniyey -
Voluntary Association for Cooperation with the Army) training,
although e1.lePedly voluntary, is practicc.lly ol;ligatory to
all male youths ~f the USSR and does not havo any connection
with the ".L'10 hours'' of training,
