These two barges were tied at the quay near ti,. shipyard. They were equipped with repair fac1114ina vessels ( deta ~etaiis unialown) #14 Frontier Trco' Office Building. This building was cons ructe: of cement-covered brick, was a single-story structure and had a sheet metal roof (gabled). It measured approximately eight by six m. Frontier troops guarded the harbor area. #15 Two Pontoons. The pontoons were of metal construction and a wooden decks. They served for embarkati.on and debarka- tion of pera-oonne1. #16 Harbor Sanitary Service Building. This building was con- s true e the same as 't a bu,l ing mentioned in Point #14. The area between building Point #14 and #16, approximately six by six m, was cement surfaced and had a sheet metal roof. There were no walls on the northern and southern sides. #17 The Lay. It was of granite stone construction, and about eight m wide, extending about 100 m eastwards from the shipyard's area, Point #12. The quay was approximately three m above'water level (depth of the river along the quay unknown). #18 Storage building. This building was constructed of cement- covered rickT,was a single story structure and had a gables, tile covered roof. It measured about 14 by six m. This building was used by Sovrom for storage of equipment, such as signal lights, cables, accumulators and distilled water. #19 Stora a building- This building was of the same construc- tion as ,ne .u .ding mentioned in Point #18 and was used by Sovrom for the same purpose. 2. The area between the street at Point #7 and the quay at Point #17 as surfaced with granite stone. One row of trees extended along the middle of this area in an east - west direction. The harbor area, located on the southern outskirts of Turnu-Severin, extended eas ward and westward from the harbor center. There were no piers protruding from tie quay into the stream.
