#3 The Customs Office. This building was constructed of
r s a s ogle-story structure and had a hi 2p

file covered roof. It measured a ro by
eight in, and was located about four pm distance from
Point #2. Besides the customs office, the office of
the Chief of Harbor Militia was probably located there.
#4 Double Track Normal Gauge Rail Line

#5 The Harbor ,master's office. This building also contained
e supp y inance an personnel sections of the Sovroa
transport company. It was constructed,and had the same
dimensions as the building mentioned in Point #2, above.
This building was located about two a from Point #3.
#6 Fence. This fence was a wooden board fence about 1.5 a
RTgF.-- it probably surrounded the whole harbor area.
#7 Street. This street was surfaced with granite stone,
a ou four m wide, and was in good condition.
#8 Park Area. It extended across the street of Point #1
wee war and northward to the outskirts of the town.
The distance between the southern border of this park and
the fence at Point #6, was approximately eight m. The
width of th park area (month - south direction) was
about 200 m.
#9 The SDGP Transport Co office. The SDnP is a Soviet
wa er ranspor conrpary, e P o?ficc building was
constructed of ccment-covered brick, was a single story
structure, and had a gabled, tile-covered roof. It
measured approximately 14 by six m. The distance between
this building and the building at Point #5 was approxi-
mately TO in.
#10 Stor a Buil'?in This building served as a storage

building was of the same construction, appearance and
size as thj building mentioned in Point #9,

quay near ti,. shipyard. They were equipped with repair

#14 Frontier Trco' Office Building. This building was
cons ructe: of cement-covered brick, was a single-story
structure and had a sheet metal roof (gabled). It
measured approximately eight by six m. Frontier troops
guarded the harbor area.
#15 Two Pontoons. The pontoons were of metal construction and
a wooden decks. They served for embarkati.on and debarka-
tion of pera-oonne1.
#16 Harbor Sanitary Service Building. This building was con-
s true e the same as 't a bu,l ing mentioned in Point #14.
The area between building Point #14 and #16, approximately
six by six m, was cement surfaced and had a sheet metal
roof. There were no walls on the northern and southern
sides.
#17 The Lay. It was of granite stone construction, and about
eight m wide, extending about 100 m eastwards from the
shipyard's area, Point #12. The quay was approximately
three m above'water level (depth of the river along the
quay unknown).
#18 Storage building. This building was constructed of cement-
covered rickT,was a single story structure and had a
gables, tile covered roof. It measured about 14 by six m.
This building was used by Sovrom for storage of equipment,
such as signal lights, cables, accumulators and distilled
water.
#19 Stora a building- This building was of the same construc-
tion as ,ne .u .ding mentioned in Point #18 and was used
by Sovrom for the same purpose.
2. The area between the street at Point #7 and the quay at Point #17 as
surfaced with granite stone. One row of trees extended along the
middle of this area in an east - west direction. The harbor area,
located on the southern outskirts of Turnu-Severin, extended eas ward
and westward from the harbor center.
There were no piers
protruding from tie quay into the stream. The basin was located about
