1. Many divisions and departments of the new Klement Gottwald Metallurgical. Works
in Kuncice are still under construction and only the following are in operation
at the present time. the main pover plant (partial operation), the roiling
mill which produces various sizes of steel tubes, the steel mill and blast
furnaces which operate in three shifts.
2. The plant makes tubes of 20 centimeter diameter at the sate of seven freight-
car loads during each 24-hour perio(. All of the tubes are marked for export
to the MSR.

3. The over plant supplies electricity for all the divisions and departments
in operation. Equipment for the power plant and transformer station was built
by the Electrical Works in Prague. The plans for the complete electrical net-
work are kept in the gain office of the power plant: and the key to this office
is in the possession of Mr (fau) Bradac, chief of the Electrical Works in
Prague who is probably an engineer supervising plant construction workers. Coal
is supplied by the 06D mines in Ostrava and water by the plant's own water
