1. GSS Humber 1 (Government Electric Station - ~sudarstvenaye Elektro
Stantiya) was located in. the center of Kharkov. It Tray on the Lopan
River and !aced on a "pereulok" (alley), the name of which I do not
recall. I do remember it was near Monkovskaya Ulitss. River eater
was used to ^ooy the condensers. Steem turbines were utilized by the
station. The ci+.y had another power station, which was called Z~AR(i88:
it ryas ?~cated cn :he outskirts of 14~arkov.
2. (FE3 Nruorer L produced electricity Por the city and some of Kharkov'e
Yactoriee. It had three turbo-generators, rich of 3,004 kw. I beliem
they wrre built in Switzerland. Ia 191, the Soviets had wrecked the
three generators. The Oerpana Sized one, then wrecked it, and, at a
later date to an to repair it a6a1a. However, I as certain that at
present ~91~~'rM a*stion is fuactionina sad still is the sane location,
because o* the uses ~~ the city and the local factories for electric pourer.
The station's other egnipmant (ezcapt !or the pnaratora), its buildings,
